It was past dinner time and we were getting hungry so we hopped back in the car and headed downtown. We quickly learned that things were going to be pricey in Nashville when we parked the car in a parking garage. It was $25 US for 3 hours!
A short walk from the car, we ended up on the main strip. It was much smaller than I was expecting being only 3.5 blocks in length. But it was busy and lively and it seemed like there was live music at every restaurant and bar. Lots of famous musicians, like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Kid Rock, to name a few, had mult-floor restaurants. We ended up at a smaller restaurant under Jason Aldean’s place. The food was good and got to hear a little live music.
After dinner we walked up and down the strip to take in a bit of the evening atmosphere. These are a few photos of the nightlife on Broadway Street before we called it a night after a long travel day.
