Almost There

Our 6-hour flight from Tokyo to Bangkok is done. Customs and immigration was a breeze (thank god!). One more flight to go to get to Phuket and then we can finally relax. We’re taking a discount airliner to get to Phuket. The bad thing is that all those airlines only fly out of another airport. So we boarded the free inter-airport shuttle bus and spent the next 1.5 hours either crawling or speeding down the Bangkok highways.
We’re only taking 3 days worth of cloths to Phuket, which we packed into a packing cube at home so we could quickly grab it from the big luggage and throw it in a duffle bag. We’re storing our big bags at a secured luggage storage place in the airport to retrieve in a few days when we come back to see Bangkok.
So now we’ve got another hour to wait before our flight leaves then we can drop the bags at the hotel and head down to the beach.
