Octopus on a Stick

In researching this trip we found a video online about these octopus on stick as something to try. We found them at the market so Eduardo gave it a try. I just couldn’t do it. At first it was all about getting the photo with it but in the end he ate the whole thing. He said the head tasted like scrambled eggs and the rest of the body tasted like calamari.
The second item was a giant scallop cooked on the grill in its own shell. I opted for a skewer of Waygu beef…I should have picked the scallop. It took forever to get our food but when we finally did, Eduardo said the scallop was excellent. I was expecting the beef to soft and tender but instead it was tough and chewy. I think I need to try it again somewhere else.
