On Saturday, I made my way to the Ginza area, known for it’s shopping. A lot of the stores are pretty high end so it was a lot of window shopping. However, the flagship Uniqlo store is in Ginza, which is similar to H&M so I took look. Because land space is at a premium in Japan, everything is vertical. Uniqlo was 10 floors high, and of course the men’s areas were on 8, 9 and 10. I ended up getting a few things here, not that they had crazy deals but they had some unique items.
Turns out on Saturdays they block off the main streets from cars and it’s one big pedestrian zone, which was really helpful since there where a lot of people out shopping.
Great that you saw a Uniqlo. Vancouver is getting the first one in Canada this month at Metrotown. Ps. Taka & Scott love this store.
