Blue Lagoon

Our final stop before going to the airport and heading back to Canada is the famous Blue Lagoon. This is Iceland’s most popular tourist attraction. It’s a giant pool formed from natural lava rocks and filled with the sanitized thermal run off water from the neighbouring industrial plant. He description makes it sound horrible but it’s really a nice place to relax.  For €55 each, you get access to the pool facility, one towel and one drink. We spent a couple hours here to relax before our journey home.
